Class Overview

While unpleasant to consider, the reality is that the world we live in can change in an instant. We hold hope for a better future; however, we must consider being prepared. Most of us have likely seen the survival priorities listed as fire, water, shelter, and food, but these apply differently to each of us even given the same situation and there are other priorities to consider as well.  Knowledge is power, the confidence and comfort of knowing your personal Everyday Self-Reliance priorities are a must regardless of urban or wilderness setting.

Our goal is to help you build a foundation of knowledge regarding Everyday Self-Reliance   priorities. Provide information to empower you to design your own personal priorities. We will be discussing the core 4 + priorities and how each impacts our personal preparedness. We wish to convey a high level concept and introduction to thought processes and equipment.

Topics that will be covered:

  • Preparedness; As a thought process.

  • Guaranteed fire; Carry or scavenge?

  • Water; The liquid of life.

  • Shelter; As a system.

  • Food; To gather or pack?

  • Defense; As a philosophy. (No Firearm required for this Class)
