Class Overview

We’re offering the opportunity to learn and practice in a low stress structured environment with experienced staff available to guide and advise.

•Student will learn proven and efficient modern methods to effect individual survival based on our Core 4 priorities of Shelter, Fire, Water, and Food.

Students will have opportunity to practice these methods with our instructor coaching and assistance.

Required Items:

  • Dress appropriately for the season and worst possible conditions
    Fixed blade knife (4” minimum/6” max)
  • Poncho or Tarp (6’x8’ minimum/10’x10’ max)
  • Cordage 50’ (paracord or #36 bankline)
  • Single wall metal container(bottle or canteen)
  • Modern combustion device (ferrocium rod, Bic lighter, ect)
  • Sleeping pad (foam or inflatable)
  • Sleeping bag (32* or lower rated)
  • Backpack or Haversack
  • Food and water for 2 days
  • Notebook and pencil

  • Class is limited to 10 students
  • Price is $150.00
  • Friday is student arrival and set up.
  • Campfire and Cadre introductions at 6pm
  • Class will begin at 8am Saturday 16th
  • Its quite ok if attendees don’t want to camp and only want to come for the day

Restrooms on site

Access to class area is approximately a quarter mile dirt road. If the weather is persistent rainy prior to the event or if attendees arrive in a low ground clearance vehicle, we have planned for an alternate parking area and we’ll shuttle attendees to the class area.

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued as a credit towards another class and will be good for up to one year from the date of the originally purchased class. Credit for classes cannot be used toward gear purchases.
